Early Iver Johnson "Champion" shotgun with triggerguard-sidelever barrel release. Barrel just over 32" long, possibly 12 gauge. Serial number 16232. Metal parts were lightly cleaned with dark patina on barrel and slightly granular surfaces. Stock also cleaned, free of handling marks, has a couple tiny grain cracks by frame tangs. Hard rubber buttplate is worn but sound. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
