Unusual rolling block type shotgun by Dexter Smith. Marked on top of barrel "MANUFACTURED BY DEXTER SMITH,SPRINGFIELD,MASS PAT.JAN.8.& OCT.1.67.FEB.14.& MAR.7.71." Serial number 1630. Metal parts have a clean light to medium patina overall. Lever was fashioned of a shotgun hammer. Stock is very good, free of cracks, with a tiny chip by right side of frame. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
