Unusual Dickerman patent single barrel damascus shotgun. Top lever is located right of center, and milled out of the frame on that side, and a safety is located in front of the hammer. 30" barrel. Marked in riband on both sides of frame "A.DICKERMAN.PAT.AUG.4.1885." and on top of barrel "BY STRONG FIRE ARMS CO NEW HAVEN CONN". Has strong damascus twist finish on barrel with some mottled case color on frame mixing with patina. Stock is very good, showing little use with minimal minor marks. Hard rubber buttplate is excellent, free of cracks and chips. Appears mechanically good. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
