Early William Lawrence, Laconia, New Hampshire single barrel shotgun. Possibly 12 gauge, 27" barrel with bead front sight. Nice case colors on frame and buttplate, rich brown patina on barrel. Marked on barrel flat "WM LAWRENCE LACONIA.N.H." Unusual action with lifting lever and extractor at 4 o'clock position in breech. Stocks fine, showing light marks from average wear, one minor hairline crack of about 2" at tip of forearm and a miniscule 1/2" crack at back of frame of left side. Mechanically good, sold as a collectors item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
