Lane & Read, Boston single barrel percussion shotgun

Lane & Read Boston, as marked on lock, single barrel percussion fowler. Also marked on barrel with date of 1833. 33-1/2" barrel of about .70 caliber. Metal parts show dark patina overall with a little pitting, mostly in the barrel breech area. Has an iron ramrod of 20-1/2" long. Stock very good, free of cracks, shows scattered light marks and initials RWA lightly scratched into right side of butt. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
