Burnside 5th model percussion breechloading saddle ring carbine. Serial number 13731. Metal parts have a medium gray patina overall with some scattered light pitting and light uncleaned rust. Stock has an untouched appearance, showing a good deal of wear and use, with numerous minor marks and abrasions from handling. Lock functions at full cock but does not have half cock, breechblock functions as expected. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
