M1862 Joslyn breechloading cartridge carbine. Flayderman 9B-068, 2200 produced on contract for the federal government. Serial number 259. Mellow patina on brass parts, brown patina on steel parts, with some dings on the lock plate. Stock has been lightly cleaned, has visible stock cartouches opposite the lock, has a worn appearance with some smoothed-out dings. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
