Winchester-Hotchkiss magazine-repeater saddle ring carbine. Serial number 16030. Standard receiver marking for a second model and serial number, with magazine selector/safety usually seen on earlier guns. 24" barrel. Metal parts are smooth with a medium-dark patina overall. Stock is good with a sooth appearance overall, has some light cracks around the magazine cutoff/safety, a problem which prompted the transition to the second model stock without the inlet switch. Wood does show some scattered handling marks. Appears to be mechanically good. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
