French M1815 percussion musket dated 1838. 42-3/4" barrel. Model marked on barrel tang and proofed in various places. Metal parts have a light patina overall with some pitting in the barrel breech area. Stock is good, showing wear from use, with an added old varnished finish. Free of cracks and chips with some minor dings in the ramrod channel edges. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
