Harpers Ferry M1795 flintlock musket. Barrel shortened to 37" with stock shortened accordingly. Appears to be original flintlock, just with the cock and lock internal parts absent. Nicely marked lock with date of 1813, proofed barrel with additional "OHIO" marking, and proofs in stock opposite lock. Ramrod, middle barrel band, middle band spring, and triggerguard sling swivel/stud are also absent. Metal parts have a rich uncleaned patina with some light pitting in the flash hole area. Stock is also untouched with well-defined edges, showing scattered expected marks from use and handling, small hairline by rear lock screw, and some minor chipping to the ramrod channel edges. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
