French M1763 style flintlock project gun. Reconverted to flint using antique parts (except pan) including a later style hammer, flash hole still needs work. 44-1/2" barrel with forward 6-1/2" restored. Metal parts were cleaned, having an even pitting overall. Has several replacement screws and replacement ramrod. Stock has filled chipping around the buttplate and triggerguard, broken and repaired in the wrist, showing old slivering to the forearm edges, and a restoration of the forearm under the middle band using a separate piece of wood. Lock is internally complete, but hammer throw is incorrect, preventing the lock from cocking fully or releasing as expected. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
