Large British flintlock holster pistol with rampant lion mark of the East India Company on the lock. 9" round barrel, about 16" overall, bore of about 0.67". Has additional barrel proofs and arsenal marks on the lock and barrel. Lock is a brown patina with a little rust, barrel has a plumb patina, and brass parts have a pleasing medium patina. Cock jaw is absent and jaw screw is broken off. Stock has an attractive grain pattern, free of cracks and chips, showing some minor marks from handling. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
