Unusual "Blue Jacket No 1" .22 caliber spur trigger revolver. Marked on left side of barrel (atypical location) "BLUE JACKET No1.NY.PAT.MAR.28.1871" and finished in blue. 2-3/16" round barrel, 7 shots. Barrel and cylinder have very fine original blue finish, frame is a medium gray patina. Wood grips are good, showing expected wear and use, with an impression above the screw on the right side. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
