Slocum patent separate chambers 32 rimfire pocket revolver by Brooklyn Firearms Co. Flayderman 8A-032. Serial number 1012. Novel design with separate chambers that individually slide forward for extraction and loading, intended to circumvent the Rollin White patent for bored-through cylinders. Attractively crafted arm with standard hand-engraved brass frame and bag grip with asymmetrical butt. Metal parts have a medium to dark patina with some traces of original silver finish on the frame. Wood grip has fine original varnish showing light handling marks and some dings to the butt from improper use as a hammer. The ridged grips on the chambers show some flattening from tool use. Hammer does not cock fully, functions otherwise. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
