Smith & Wesson first model, second issue .22 caliber spur trigger revolver. Serial number 66576. Barrel and cylinder have a medium gray patina, brass parts have fine original silver finish that is tarnished. Sideplate has a flaw with chip missing but revolver does not bear a "2nd Quality" mark. Wood grips have some of the original varnish present, showing average wear and use, free of cracks, with a small chip at butt of grip panel. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
