Smith & Wesson No.2 "Old Model Army" .32 rimfire revolver. Serial number 17443. 6" ribbed octagon barrel with maker marking. Earlier gun made during the Civil War. Metal parts have very fine to excellent original blue finish, which is bright on most parts, thinned a little bit to patina on the cylinder, a little light brown rust on the right side of the frame and barrel, some rust specks on the barrel, and some minor scratches from handling over the years. Wood grips have a crack and dent on the left side, and a sliver missing along the backstrap on the right side. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
