Dutch M1871/78 Beaumont rifle. Serial number 453. Bolt is absent. Metal parts have a pleasing medium patina overall. Stock was broken and glued in the receiver area with the repair not having been disguised at all. Wood has visible inspection marks with built-up old finish and numerous handling marks, also a missing piece of wood from left side of receiver. This rifle could easily be restored, or has many parts that could be used in the restoration of other rifles. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
