French M1874 Gras rifle by St. Etienne. Serial number 59700. 32-1/2" barrel. Gun is well-worn overall with a dark patina uncleaned on all metal parts. Cleaning rod is absent, as is the extractor and at least one piece of the bolt. Stock shows numerous handling marks and is also uncleaned. There is a piece of wood missing to left of barrel tang and some worn missing wood on right side at buttplate. Bolt still cocks but is loose. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
