Contemporary percussion curly maple halfstock rifle with ovoid patchbox. Barrel marked 50 cal and serial numbered 3409. Barrel is 32" long with 0.93" width. Browned barrel and color casehardened lock. Barrel appears to have three plugged holes behind the mortised rear sight. Stock has an attractive, tight curly grain and is nicely finished. 8-pointed Moravian star in cheek piece. Functions mechanically. We are not gunsmiths and do not warrant this gun to shoot safely. Please seek guidance from an expert in blackpowder gunsmithing if unsure about the safety and management of this rifle.
