M1898 Springfield-Krag rifle. Serial number 267478. Metal parts have a medium gray and plumb patina overall. Has a 3-piece cleaning rod housed under the buttplate trap. Stock has an added gloss finish, free of cracks and chips, showing scattered light to moderate marks from handling and storage, particularly on the forearm edges and wrist. Good readable 1903 dated cartouche in stock. Ships to FFL or C&R license holder. Appears to be mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
