US M1903 Springfield rifle. Serial number 387765. Made in 1909 with 10-09 marked SA barrel. Metal parts are clean with a mix of finish and brown patina and free of pitting. Stock is good, appears to have been lightly cleaned long ago, free of cracks and chips with scattered minor handling marks. Bore is dark with strong, uninterrupted rifling. Equipped with later model sling. Eligible to ship to C&R license holder. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, this rifle is among the under-800,000 serial range guns not regarded as safe to shoot.
