Swiss M1878 Vetterli rifle. Serial number 185152. Metal parts have fine original blue finish overall with minor little scattered storage rust specks. Stock has a very attractively grained butt with two deep inspector cartouches, shows scattered handling marks overall, a tiny nick by the band spring and one by the frame on the right side. Appears to be mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
