Percussion underhammer target rifle marked on barrel flat "H.B.HARRINGTON/LEBANON.N.H." 30-1/2" barrel of about .36 caliber bore. Very interesting rifle with globe front sight, open rear sight, and adjustable tang target peep sight. Metal parts have a pleasing brown patina overall with scattered minor rust spots. Buttstock has a rectangular cheekpiece inlay typical to upper Connecticut River Valley guns. Wood is in original varnish with scattered worn spots and scratches. Free of cracks and chips. Interesting combination loading/cleaning rod. Hammer is a little loose at rest, but still cocks smartly and releases when the trigger is pulled. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
