Winchester M1873 .38-40 lever action rifle. Serial number 410458, made in 1891. 24" octagon barrel. Well marked serial number, caliber marking on barrel and elevator, and barrel maker marking. Metal parts are an attractive patina with some minor old uncleaned rust. Stocks are evenly worn, possibly having some added old oil finish, with numerous scattered light to moderate handling marks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
