Winchester M1890 .22 short slide action rifle. Serial number 102895, made in 1901. 24" octagon barrel with very good markings. Gun is overall in a brown patina with some scattered tool marks near the barrel breech. Has added period engraving on right side of receiver of a bird dog pointing. Forearm grip has a lateral crack on the underside. Buttstock is good with average wear and scattered handling marks. Ships to C&R license holder or FFL dealer. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
