J. Manton & Co., as marked on locks, large double barrel twist shotgun. Also marked on barrel rib "LAMINATED STEEL". 31-3/4" barrels, 10 gauge. Barrel shows some twist pattern, metal parts overall have untouched lightly rusted surfaces. Right lock has a crack behind the maker marking. Stock is worn with a repaired loose break in the wrist area, strapped down long ago with two pieces of tin and a copper wire wrap. Forearm is missing the tip insert. Left lock is mechanically function, right lock has spring tension but does not cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
