Fancy carved double barrel percussion shotgun, signed on locks "Blatterlein" and "Brooklyn". 30" barrels, 12 gauge. Locks are nicely engraved, nicely shaped german silver mountings. Equipped with sling swivels in the European fashion. Metal parts have a light to dark patina overall. Stock is a nicely figured walnut, has a small crack in a knot in the butt and a light crack in front of the right lock. Stock is intricately carved in a basketweave pattern in the wrist, large cheek piece with spiral tail, and interesting patterned embellishment to the forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
