Good quality double barrel percussion shotgun marked "FINE TWIST" on barrel rib. 31" barrels, 12 gauge. No maker marking, has ELG* proof in oval on bottom of barrel. Barrel has an attractive twist finish mixing with medium patina. Other parts have nicely done border engraving with a medium gray patina overall. Ramrod is an attractive replacement. Stock is very good, checkered in the wrist, with smooth surfaces showing only light handling marks and a small chip at the rear of the breech tang. Has an ovoid silver inlay in left side of butt with an 8-pointed engraving of a sun. Mechanically good except trigger will release left hammer from half cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
