Good quality German percussion double barrel shotgun inlaid on barrel "F.SCHULER IN SUHL". 32" barrels, bore of about 0.57 or 24 gauge. Locks, associated screws, one screw from barrel key escutcheon, ramrod and one ramrod pipe are absent. Furnishings are nicely shaped and engraved, metal parts have a deep patina overall with uncleaned rust on the barrels. Stock is made with a prominent cheek piece and highly raise carved arabesque scrolls behind it. Wood is in an equally untouched condition with some cracking/chipping to sides of barrel tang and a chip missing by left barrel key escutcheon. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
