Remington rolling block 20 gauge single shot shotgun. E. Remington & Sons marking on frame tang indicates manufacture of 1888 or earlier. Barrel shortened to about 24-3/8" long and equipped with a proper brass bead front sight. Metal parts are a brown patina overall with smooth surfaces. Stocks were lightly sanded, having some scattered moderate handling marks overall, one minuscule corner chip in forearm corner on left side, and contemporary sling swivel studs added to butt and forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
