C1820-30 flintlock militia musket. Lock marked "LANE & READ/BOSTON/WARRANTED", barrel proofed indistinctly at breech. 39-1/8" round barrel of about 0.66" bore. Metal parts are good with a dark patina overall with some scattered pitting present on the barrel. Stock shows little use and has some light handling marks present, having a small stress crack in front lower lock mortise, and a minuscule crack from the rear lock bolt. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
