French M1777 style flintlock musket - $650.00

French M1777 style flintlock musket. Partial restoration to full length flintlock has been started. No markings apparent. 42" barrel with threaded hole for bolster that needs to be welded and dressed into a flash hole. Metal parts are cleaned with some pitting in the barrel breech area. Ramrod is too short for the channel. Middle barrel band is absent. Stock is pieced in the wrist and under the lower barrel band with wood added around the barrel tang. Internally, lock is missing sear spring and main spring. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
