M1808 US Sutton contract flintlock musket. Original flintlock configuration with old re-bushed touchole. Dated 1812 on lock. Original 44-1/4" barrel. Metal parts have a dark patina overall with a little pitting in the breech area. Stock shows average wear and use, having a small crack in the sideplate area. Hammer is a little loose. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
