"King Pin", as marked on left side of barrel, .22 caliber single shot derringer by Hyde & Shattuck of Springfield, Massachusetts. Unusual design with brass barrel , fine nickel finish overall. Plain wood grips show average wear from use with a scratch and light crack on left side. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
