"X.L.DOUBLE ACTION", as marked on top of frame, .32 centerfire revolver by Hopkins & Allen Mfg Co. Patent marked January 5, 1886. 3" octagon barrel. Metal parts have very fine to excellent bright original nickel finish that has a tiny bit of rust near the front of the cylinder from powder flash. Hammer and trigger are color casehardened with medium patina. Checkered hard rubber grips are very fine, free of cracks and chips. Action binds but functions if the cylinder is "helped" a little. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
