J.Stevens "Old Model Pocket Rifle" 6" barrel tip-up single shot pistol. Serial number 94915. Marked on left flat of barrel breech "J.STEVENS A & T CO/CHICOPEE FALLS,MASS USA." Barrel has open sights, plumb patina. Frame has original nickel finish that is worn off on high edges and wear points. Grips have battered original varnish and a well-worn chip on the right side. Hammer spur was broken off long ago, barrel latch and extractor are absent. Cylinder pin is present, and the hammer still cocks and holds. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
