Mediterranean flintlock dag pistol. 13-5/8" highly ornamented silver overlaid barrel with flared muzzle of about 1.3" Metal parts gave a dark patina overall, top jaw and screw are missing from cock. Stock is checkered in the wrist and forearm and inlaid with numerous little brass rings, a few of which are absent. Wood has an old added finish with a few minor short grain cracks at rear of butt and tip of forearm. Mainspring is very strong, half cock functions as expected, but doesn't cock fully. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
