French Year IX (1800) style percussion conversion military pistol. Charleville marked lock and proofs on various metal parts. 8" round barrel with octagon breech section, .69 caliber bore. Brass parts are a light yellow with added finish on barrel and lock. Different style barrel band than usually observed. Hammer is broken and percussion drum is missing from barrel. Stock shows average wear and use overall, missing a sliver of wood between lock and barrel band, and a crack at rear of lock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
