Remington Model 03-A3 .30-06 rifle. Serial number 4128540. Barrel stamping looks like "IA", but appears to be "RA" poorly struck, with a similarly struck ordnance bomb. Also has date of 10-43. Rifle exhibits most of the stamped parts instituted to increase production with the exception of milled lower sling swivel and a 2-groove rifled barrel. Metal parts have good to fine finish overall with some light rust patina on barrel muzzle. Stock is extensively inspector marked, has a couple handling scratches and some added oil. Numeral "166" in right side of butt. Ships to FFL or C&R license holder. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
