Swiss M1881 Vetterli rifle. Serial number 207867. Metal parts are original blue surfaces with some brown patina present. Cleaning rod is a replacement and lower tang screw is absent. Stock was lightly sanded as evidenced by the light cartouches, has scattered handling marks and a small crack in the wood behind the bolt. Rear sight is missing a spring and a couple screws. Action appears to be mechanically good. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
