Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. Serial number 193548, made in 1900. 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, 30 WCF (.30-30) caliber. Bore is clean but somewhat dark, shows some slight granularness but not significant erosion or pitting to speak of. Metal parts have a pleasing even brown patina overall with some original blue in protected places, with more blue on the magazine and lower flats of barrel. Knurled pattern hammer, steel crescent butt plate and forearm nose cap. Stocks show honest wear and use overall with some expected light to moderate handling marks, but shows no signs of ever having been cleaned. This is an honest, handsome rifle that would look great as part of a display of frontier/woodland items just as it is. Ships to FFL dealer or C&R license holder where eligible. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
