Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. Serial number 285754, made in 1905. 26" round barrel, full magazine. 38-55 caliber marking. 85% blue finish shows general thinning with loss on carry points and crisp edges with some scattered freckles. Fair dark bore with lightly pitted surfaces showing uninterrupted rifling. Lever and hammer still retain 85% case color. Knurled pattern hammer and steel crescent butt plate. Stock is very good with attractive coloration, shows some scattered minor handling marks. Comes with a Cody Museum factory letter confirming features. Ships to FFL dealer or C&R license holder where eligible. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
