Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. Serial number 403829, made in 1907. 26" octagon barrel, 32 W.S. (Winchester Special) caliber. Fair bore shows some light erosion to rifling and several pits not forming a ring in a narrow area near the muzzle. Light to medium gray patina on most parts and plumb patina on barrel/magazine, Marbles rear sight, knurled pattern hammer, steel butt plate and forearm nose cap. Stock and forearm show light average handling with old light refinish, light grain crack on right side front of forearm and replaced wood section along barrel channel on left side of forearm that is nicely colored and not extremely apparent. Otherwise wood has light marks from handling and a smoothed-down chip at the left butt to frame corner. Ships to FFL dealer or C&R license holder where eligible. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
