M1917 Winchester .30-06 rifle. Serial number 545047. Winchester barrel dated 12-18. Most other marked parts observed are marked "E". Metal parts are fine, showing some storage rust near the muzzle from having been kept with the muzzle cover on. Stock has a few moderate marks that are worn down after having been lightly sanded some time ago. Comes with a web muzzle cover marked "TWEEDIE 1944". Ships to FFL or C&R license holder. Appears to be mechanically functional. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Before considering using this arm, we recommend inspection by a professional gunsmith.
