Fancy percussion shotgun with nipple protectors, possibly French. Not marked except for inlaid "CANON DAMASSE" on top of barrel. Nicely engraved overall, showing average wear. Has spring operated nipple protectors. Both hammers are missing, with screws present. One sling swivel is missing. Nicely scalloped panels in wrist and and forearm, shell carving on underside of butt. Has a large cheek rest with flower carving. Stock shows average wear and use overall with numerous minor marks, but free of cracks and chips. Metal parts are very good with dark patina overall, damascus finish on barrels, and some pitting on the buttplate. Mechanical condition unknown. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
