Unusual early Shattuck single barrel shotgun. Marked on top of barrel "C.S.SHATTUCK HATFIELD MASS PAT.MAY.30.93". Fancy "SHATTUCK PERFECTION" buttplate. Possibly 12 gauge. 30" Barrel has plumb blue patina with scattered specks of old light rust, nickeled frame fine. Stock fine, shows few minor scattered marks, has a small crack to the right of the upper frame tang. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot. Always buying, trades of antique guns considered.
